Electric guitar with Telecaster body shape from American Special series that puts everything you want in an affordable U.S.-made instrument within the reach. It features an alder body with gloss urethane finish and a modern “C”-shaped maple neck with satin urethane finish. The neck is fitted with a 9.5”-radius fingerboard made of rosewood with 22 jumbo frets and dot inlays. Scale length is 648 mm, nut width is 42.8 mm. The guitar is equipped with two Texas Special single-coil pickups designed specifically for Telecaster and the Greasebucket Tone circuit that rolls off high frequencies without adding bass. Sound can be shaped by Master Volume and Master Greasbucket controls with chrome dome knobs and a 3-position blade switch. Other features include a synthetic bone nut fret, vintage-style string-through-body Telecaster bridge with three brass saddles, a 3-ply black pickguard, vintage-style strap buttons, “barrel” style switch, standard cast/sealed tuners and Fender USA Super 250L, NPS strings (.009-.042 gauges).
