Pedals for Keys

Keyboard pedals are an essential part of the setup of any keyboard player who wants to expand the capabilities of their instrument. They also give you better control over the sound. Whether you play a digital piano, synthesiser or organ, the right pedal will help you achieve the desired effect and musical expression. The control signal type, polarity and connector must be compatible with the corresponding input on your instrument.

Among the most popular options are sustain pedals, which extend the sound of notes and create a richer, fuller musical experience. If you need continuous volume control, you will appreciate keyboard volume pedals, which allow you to control the sound level dynamically while playing.

If you want an even wider range of expressive options, choose from keyboard expression pedals. They respond to pressure and foot movement, allowing you to change various sound parameters in real time. In addition to these basic types, you will also find other keyboard pedals offering specific functions and effects to suit your requirements.

If you want to expand your setup, we recommend exploring accessories that improve your comfort and extend your playing options. The right pedal can significantly influence your musical expression and help you communicate your musical ideas more effectively.

Keyboard pedals are suitable for anyone who wants to improve their technique and sound, whether you play at home, in the studio or on stage. They can help you achieve a professional sound and control your instrument more comfortably.

Explore the individual pedal categories and choose the one that best suits your needs and playing style.

Sustain, expression and volume pedals are not interchangeable

A sustain pedal works as a switch and extends the note; some instruments also support half-pedalling. An expression or volume pedal transmits a continuous value, so it requires a corresponding input and wiring configuration. Before ordering, check the connector designation in your keyboard's manual.

  • The polarity of the sustain pedal must match the instrument or be switchable.
  • A three-pedal unit is usually designed for a specific digital piano model or stand.
  • The cable must be long enough to reach the connector without being stretched or routed through the foot area.

A wide base and non-slip underside reduce movement across the floor. When connecting the pedal, leave it in its resting position so that the instrument recognises its state correctly.
