Fast tracking digital MIDI/USB guitar for recording, composing and creating Tablature via MIDI that can be also used stand-alone with its internal sounds. This model is an upgraded version of the popular YRG-1000 and features the patented fingerboard technology and electronics, including new pickup system with firmware improvements for improved reliability and consistency. Layer and Zone structure allows two sets of sounds to be mapped on the fingerboard per user selection. It also offers chorus effect, transposition, pan, and zones that can be stored per layer in the 99 presets. All the sounds in the built-in sound library are new and reworked in collaboration with professional sample house ‘Soundwaves’. Guitar connects to a host of mobile devices (including the popular iPad to use with GarageBand), and to the MAC and PC via USB. It can be used with most recording and tablature software such as Logic, Reason and Ableton, and is also compatible with Legacy MIDI synthesizer devices via its 5-pin MIDI connector. Guitar is further equipped with detachable 22 fret guitar neck for portability, a whammy bar and pick guard, modulation joystick, and bridge mute. It provides standard 1/4" guitar jack, one stereo mini headphone output, a stereo line-in for iPods and MP3 players, high speed USB/MIDI interface, and MIDI output – 5-pin legacy connector, as well as GameFlex port that connects wirelessly to Wii and PS/3 (Gameflex cartridge sold separately). Device can be powered by four AA batteries or USB power.
