The Open-Back 2x12 is constructed from light-weight Poplar plywood in an open-back cabinet design. The Special 6 2x12 is loaded with two 12" VHT ChromeBack 16Ohm speakers (the same speakers found in the Special 6 1x12 cabinet). It has a Mono/Stereo switch (with isolated ground paths in stereo mode, for no ground issues) and a high-quality, durable, recessed leather handle.

The VHT Special 6 Open-Back 2x12 cabinet is a great choice for clean and mildly overdriven tones. Its open-back design fills the room with lively multi-dimensional tone. And thanks to its high-sensitivity 12" VHT ChromeBack speakers, it's surprisingly loud too.
