Václav Neckář, born in 1943 in Prague, is a renowned Czech singer and actor recognized for his acclaimed role in the film Closely Watched Trains. He gained prominence as a member of the group Golden Kids alongside Marta Kubišová and Helena Vondráčková, and later performed with the band Bacily. Neckář also collaborated with Polish singer Anna Jantar in the late 1970s. Throughout his career, he has remained a significant figure in Czech popular music and cinema.
