Thanks to the piezo pickups, it will always feel more like strumming a guitar than a bass kick. If you don't want to deal with this and have the same sound every time, it's better to pay extra and buy digital. In addition, with digital, there is usually a bonus of more sound and the option of volume. I had the opportunity to try the more expensive wooden analogue pieces and there was no major difference apart from the price. For me, excellently processed and robust, the price is perfect. I like the shape. Plays well with both the heel and toe. I normally use a cajon with a foot pedal. But for portability, I wanted a stomp box. Now I know I want digital. But I'll definitely keep this for the money anyway. It's plenty enough for some street play. And it will come in handy in case of an incident. If anything happens to the digital, at least I have a replacement with me. The only minus is that it cannot be put on an adapter. Which would be good for training.
