A Path to Artistic Classical Guitar Playing

This Czech-language method book targets students who already have a foundation and want to refine their artistic interpretation on the classical concert guitar. Subtitled "Škola vyšší techniky" (School of Higher Technique), the 68-page volume replaces mechanical drills with carefully chosen excerpts from well-known solo pieces, cultivating tone colour, touch and expressive range.

Repertoire and Practical Focus

The 1989 edition leans firmly toward practical playing. Etude-style inserts point students toward works by Carulli, Giuliani, Sor, Tárrega, Carcassi, Aguado, Legnani, Coste and Molino, giving intermediate players a guided path through the classical guitar literature.
