Each pair carries a numbered PVC sleeve so channels are easy to identify during termination. Inside, 0.22 mm² oxygen-free copper conductors with foam/skin-PE insulation sit beneath a 100% AL/PT foil shield and a pre-twisted drain wire for clean signal transfer. A 110 Ω characteristic impedance and 46 pF/m capacitance let the cable carry both analog balanced audio and AES/EBU digital signals reliably over long runs.

The flexible S-PVC jacket stays pliable on cable reels and through conduits, and the AL/PT foil clings to the jacket during stripping for faster connector assembly.
