4 beautifully detailed mic preamps to capture every nuance of every performance with enough gain to handle any mic you connect. The two-stage design uses a mix of specially selected low-noise discrete transistors combined with integrated circuits, resulting in exceptionally low noise (-130 dBu EIN) and excellent gain range (62 dB).

Unlike many USB-powered audio interfaces, the SSL 12's balanced line inputs and outputs work up to +24 dBu, allowing you to seamlessly integrate with your favorite analog outboards and other line-level devices.

With 32-bit converter technology, perfect left-right stereo tracking and balanced outputs that provide a dynamic range of over 120dB, the SSL 12 brings the uncompromising performance of a high-end studio monitor section right to your desk.

Inputs and outputs
Front-access jacks provide convenient access to 2 instrument DI inputs and 2 independent headphone outputs.
On the back, the SSL provides 12 Neutrik® XLR combo jacks for Mic/Line inputs, TRS jack outputs for 2 speaker sets, 5-pin DIN MIDI I/O, 8 channels of digital audio inputs via ADAT, a USB connector and a power switch.

The SSL 12 is equipped with an extraordinary number of professional studio features usually reserved for high-end rack interfaces.

Recording
When tracking, ADAT connectivity together with a built-in microphone for talkback and an incredibly powerful software cue mixer (which allows you to create up to 4 independent mixes for performers with almost zero latency) can handle even the most demanding recording sessions.

When mixing, alternative monitor switching and assignable control room functions on the front panel put everything you need at your fingertips.

Produce
In production, USB Loopback, MIDI I/O and DC outputs for CV control of synths give you a serious toolkit to keep you creative.
