Anderson Paak, born Brandon Paak Anderson in 1986, is an acclaimed American R and B singer, rapper, songwriter, and producer. Emerging with his debut mixtape in 2012 and album Venice in 2014, he gained major recognition with Malibu in 2016, earning a Grammy nomination. He later released Oxnard and Ventura, the latter of which brought him two Grammy Awards in 2020. His energetic style blends soulful vocals with dynamic musicianship, often accompanied by his band, the Free Nationals. Beyond his solo work, he collaborates as part of the duo NxWorries with producer Knxwledge and formed Silk Sonic with Bruno Mars, whose hit Leave the Door Open topped the charts and swept multiple Grammy Awards.
