Set of 12 sticks of vine charcoal for drawing and sketching. Vine charcoal produces a slightly lighter tone to willow charcoal and produces shades of grey-black. These long thin sticks can be used for tonal and expressive sketching on paper, canvas or wood. Break sticks and use on the side for larger areas of coverage - charcoal can be smudged and blended using your fingers, a cloth, a sponge or paper stumps.

Charcoal requires fixing to your surface ideally using a charcoal fixative or other fast-drying, non-smudging varnishes.
