Deep End was a short-lived supergroup created by Pete Townshend of the Who, with Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour on guitar. The lineup featured Simon Phillips on drums, Chucho Merchan on bass, Jody Linscott on percussion, John Rabbit Bundrick on keyboards, Peter Hope Evans on harmonica, vocalists Billy Nicholls, Cleveland Watkiss, Chyna, and included the brass section Kick Horns. The group blended rock influences from its members’ legendary backgrounds, delivering powerful live performances in the mid-1980s.
