Heavy hammered 14” hi-hat cymbal from Byzance Brilliant series that has a darker sound than the original series. It is due to a finishing process that limits the high end as the cymbal is buffed to its brilliant look: Brilliant series cymbals are also made of B20 bronze (80% copper, 20% tin), but polished up to six times to a high gloss finish. This heavier model penetrates with directness and has medium sustain and volume. The overall combination of dark tonality and warm spread makes it a great choice for everything from funk and fusion to rock.
