Keyboards with Stand

Keyboards with stand are sold as bundles in which the instrument and a folding stand come in one box, so you can start playing as soon as you have unpacked it. This page lists only bundles where the stand really is included in the box. Most of them have 61 touch-sensitive keys, meaning a note sounds louder the harder you strike the key. You will find bundles from Yamaha, Casio, Korg, Roland, Kurzweil and Pianonova, ranging from children's keyboards with 49 keys up to the Yamaha PSR-SX, Genos 2 and Korg Pa arranger keyboards.

What comes in the Basic, Standard and Premium bundles?

The bundle level tells you how many accessories are in the box. Every bundle on this page includes a folding X-stand.

• Basic SET – keyboard and stand, and most bundles also include a sustain pedal.
• Standard SET – in addition to the stand you also get headphones, often along with a pedal and a fabric dust cover.
• Premium SET – a carry bag on top of that, and some bundles also come with a metal piano stool.

The exact contents vary by model, so check the list of what is in the box for each bundle.

Which keyboard with stand should I choose for a child or a beginner?

A beginner will be fine with a bundle that has 61 touch-sensitive keys, such as the Yamaha PSR-E383 or PSR-E483, Casio CT-S300, Roland E-X10 or Pianonova Bravo 3. Keyboards like these have built-in speakers and hundreds of sounds (the Yamaha PSR-E383 has 650, the Casio CT-S300 has 400), so you do not need an amplifier to hear them. For smaller children, a shorter instrument with 49 or 54 keys is a good fit, for example the Casio CTK 240, Kurzweil KP30, Pianonova Chiquito 1 or Cantando 2. If practice happens in the evening, a Standard or Premium bundle with headphones is worth having, so that playing does not disturb anyone else in the flat.

I already have a keyboard – where can I find just the stand?

If you already have a keyboard, you will find separate folding stands, wooden stands and stands for synthesisers in the keyboard stands category. If you are looking for a bigger instrument for playing with a band or at weddings, take a look at the professional arranger keyboards; several of them are also listed here as a bundle with a stand.
