The Amethyst Shock Mount is the dedicated external shock mount engineered in Latvia for the Amethyst large-diaphragm condenser microphone. The manufacturer recommends pairing The Amethyst with this external mount to isolate the capsule from vibrations that travel up through the mic stand, boom arm, or studio desk. The mount keeps footfall noise, keyboard taps, and stand bumps from reaching the sensitive Golden Drop diaphragm inside the microphone.

Unlike universal spider-style shock mounts, this accessory is purpose-built to mate with the four metal disc mounting points on the Amethyst body — the same proprietary mounting system used on the JZ Microphones BB29.
