Jiří Jirmal (1925–2019) was a Czech classical guitarist with a strong interest in jazz. Born in Prague as Jiří Novák, he often combined elements of Brazilian music such as bossa nova and samba in his work. He also contributed music to the 1962 Tom and Jerry cartoon Tall in the Trap, where he was credited as George Jirmal.
