Jimmy D. Lane is an American electric blues guitarist born on July 4, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois. The son of Chess Records blues legend Jimmy Rogers, Lane grew up surrounded by iconic blues musicians such as Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Willie Mabon, Little Walter and Albert King. Known for his powerful guitar work and deep blues roots, he has carried on his father’s legacy while developing his own distinctive style. In 1998, Lane performed for President Bill Clinton, highlighting his respected place in the blues community.
