Jaro Filip (1949–2000) was a prominent Slovak musician, composer, and humorist, widely known for his collaborations with Richard Müller on several pop hits such as Cigaretka na dva ťahy, Milovanie v daždi, and Daňový únik. Active since the 1970s, he worked closely with Milan Lasica and Július Satinský, producing notable albums like Bolo nás jedenásť. Throughout the 1990s, he was part of a well-known group of Slovak humorists who commented on social and political life through TV and radio. In addition to his musical achievements, Filip was also recognized as an early advocate for the internet in Slovakia. He passed away in 2000.
