I bought it primarily as a MIDI CC controller, which significantly affects the final impression and evaluation. On Windows 10, it was a problem to find the right USB port (it doesn't like USB hubs - where else are you supposed to plug all your MIDI devices, right?). Subsequent use in REAPER as an MCU Extender was fine, it also switched track banks nicely according to the selection in the DAW, but that's not what I bought it for. Using it as a MIDI device is complicated and confusing, when you turn it on, you have to select User define mode (no. 7), but when you set User define in their iMap software, LED no. 4 lights up (it remembers it that way even after turning it on again). The current setting from the device cannot be read, it has to be saved as a file for iMap (OK, that's bearable), but the worst thing is that even though the software reports the saved settings, my adjustments did not appear. In the DAW, the faders still did pitch bend on different MIDI channels and not MIDI CC, as I needed. The fact that the faders "turn off" by disconnecting the power supply (manufacturer's recommendation) is just a minor thing (I would expect to be able to select a motorless function in this mode, because MIDI CC, which returns by itself, is pretty useless). Overall, a huge disappointment in terms of MIDI control. Maybe it was a bug/glitch, but I don't want unreliable MIDI devices anymore (KORG controller support on Windows was enough for me). I decided to return the device. Otherwise, the design/build/feel is excellent, solid metal box, plastic sides don't matter at all, great feel. It's quite big, so not suitable for a smaller desk. :-)
