Gutta in Tube If you do not use gutta, your colours will run and spread across the silk. To achieve precise designs, gutta is used to outline and separate areas of colour. Once fixed, the water‑based guttas become permanent and form an integral part of your artwork.

Instructions for use: Apply the gutta to the silk and allow it to dry completely. Then fix it by ironing on the reverse side for 2–3 minutes without steam. After fixing, you can paint inside the outlined areas.

Tubes allow you to apply gutta directly onto the fabric. Gently squeeze the tube and trace your outlines as evenly as possible.
