Harry Manfredini, born August 25, 1943, in Chicago, is an American composer and jazz soloist best known for scoring much of the Friday the 13th film series. With a strong background in classical music and two decades of experience in the popular music scene, his work reflects influences from composers like Puccini, Stravinsky, and Ravel. Manfredini has written music for more than a hundred films, making him a notable figure in contemporary film scoring.
