Gin Blossoms are an American alternative rock band from Tempe, Arizona, formed in 1987. They gained national attention with their 1992 breakthrough album New Miserable Experience, featuring the hit single Hey Jealousy. The album achieved quadruple platinum status and produced several other charting singles. Their 1996 follow-up, Congratulations I’m Sorry, went platinum and included the Grammy-nominated single As Long as It Matters. After a brief breakup in 1997, the band reunited in 2001 and has since released albums including Major Lodge Victory, No Chocolate Cake, and Mixed Reality.
