Finn Andrews is a British-New Zealand musician best known as the lead singer and songwriter of the London-based rock band The Veils. Born in London in 1983, he grew up between London and Auckland, New Zealand. Andrews formed The Veils as a teenager, releasing their acclaimed debut The Runaway Found shortly after moving to London at sixteen. With The Veils, he has released five albums, including Nux Vomica and Total Depravity, earning recognition for his intense live performances and distinctive voice. The son of Barry Andrews, a musician with ties to bands like Shriekback and XTC, Finn has also collaborated with artists such as Brian Eno and Shriekback. In addition to his work with The Veils, he launched the label Pitch Beast Records and was commissioned to compose an orchestral work commemorating World War I soldiers. Andrews appeared as a musical guest on the 2017 revival of Twin Peaks, performing the song "Axolotl."
