Cécile McLorin Salvant, born in 1989, is a French-American jazz singer celebrated as one of the leading vocalists of her generation. Acclaimed for her expressive voice and inventive interpretations, she has won three Grammy Awards for Best Jazz Vocal Album. Since 2010, Salvant has released several widely praised albums, including For One to Love, Dreams and Daggers, The Window, and Mélusine. She performs primarily in English and French, and has also explored other languages such as Occitan and Haitian Kreyòl.
