Behringer VT 999 Vintage Tube Monster Guitar Effect

The Behringer VT 999 is a Vintage Tube Monster guitar floor preamp. It features a 12AX7B vacuum tube from Bugera, providing natural tube-driven distortion. It includes a 3-band EQ (bass, mid, treble) and two main control knobs:

Gain – input sensitivity (distortion intensity)
Master – output signal level
Additionally, it has a switchable Noise Gate effect, which suppresses noise during quiet passages, with an adjustable Threshold knob. An LED indicator shows when the effect is active. The unit is powered by the included adapter.

Még csak most próbáltam ki, de nagyon tetszik. Egy Provo Rat-el versenyeztettem, egy Roland JC-40-es erősítőn. Nagyon hasonló hangzást is ki lehet tekerni. nem tudom valóban érvényesül-e a cső, de mintha egy picit melegebb lenne. Ugyankkor elég crunchy, szőrős a hang, de a gyári beállítások tényleg rámutatnak a pedál sokoldalú felhasználására. Én még kísérletezem vele, sőt lehet cserélek benne csövet is háthakicsit szelídül a gain és nem harap rögtön ennyire. A doboz és a dizájn nagyon szép, a potméterek azonban eltérőek a kezelésben, valamelyik jó szoros, valamelyik meg nagyon laza, de egyébkétn minden teszi a dolgát.

I don't know if the tube really comes into play, but it seems to be a little warmer. At the same time, the sound is quite crunchy and hairy, but the factory settings really point to the versatile use of the pedal. I'm still experimenting with it, and I might even change the tube in it, so the gain will be a little tamer and it won't bite so much right away. The box and design are very nice, but the potentiometers are different in handling, some are very tight, some are very loose, but otherwise everything does its job.
