AirPods Pro Ear Tips

AirPods Pro ear tips are replacement tips that you fit onto your earphones in place of the silicone tips supplied in the box. Here you can find Dekoni Audio memory foam ear tips for AirPods Pro, AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods Pro 3. They are useful when the original tip slips out of your ear, gets lost or has become uncomfortable during longer listening sessions. Body heat helps the foam conform to the shape of your ear canal and block out more background noise. For tips for other earphones, see the ear tips for headphones category.

Which AirPods Pro ear tips fit Pro, Pro 2 and Pro 3?

The name of each pack specifies the generation of earphones it is designed for. Dekoni makes ear tips for AirPods Pro and AirPods Pro 2, as well as a separate range for AirPods Pro 3, so check which generation you have before buying. Each tip has a plastic mounting ring that clicks onto the earphone just like the tip supplied in the box. According to the manufacturer, the version for AirPods Pro 3 fits inside the charging case with the tips still attached, so you do not need to remove them before charging.

Which size of AirPods Pro ear tips should you choose?

The ear tips come in sizes S, M, L and XL and, according to the manufacturer, correspond to the sizes of the tips supplied by Apple. If the medium tip supplied in the box fits you, start with size M. If you do not know which size will fit, choose a pack with a mix of sizes or a sample pack and try out which tip stays in your ear without pressing uncomfortably. Packs contain one pair or three pairs.

How do foam ear tips differ from silicone tips?

Memory foam slowly expands after being compressed and softens with body heat, filling the ear canal even where silicone leaves a gap. This helps the earphone stay more firmly in your ear during exercise and on your commute, while blocking out more of the surrounding noise so you do not need to play your music as loudly. The manufacturer also states that bass sounds fuller. Wash the foam with cold water and soap, then dry it with a paper towel.

Earplugs that protect your hearing at a concert are a different product. You can find them in the earplugs for concerts category.
