AC/DC

AC/DC

AC/DC is an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by brothers Angus and Malcolm Young. Known for their energetic blend of hard rock and blues rock, the band simply refers to their style as "rock and roll." AC/DC has been a major influence on the heavy metal scene and has sold over 200 million records worldwide, earning their place among the best-selling artists of all time. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003, the band is especially famous for classic albums like Highway to Hell and Back in Black, the latter becoming one of the highest-selling albums ever. Over the decades, AC/DC has seen several lineup changes, notably with the tragic death of lead singer Bon Scott in 1980 and his replacement by Brian Johnson. The group continued their success with albums like For Those About to Rock and The Razors Edge. Despite challenges, including health issues and legal troubles among members, AC/DC has maintained a signature sound and strong fan following. Their seventeenth studio album, Power Up, was released in 2020, continuing a legacy of powerful riffs and anthemic tracks that make them one of rock's most enduring acts.
