Wiim Sub Pro Hi-Fi Subwoofer Black

WiiM Sub Pro — Wireless Active Subwoofer with RoomFit™ Calibration

The WiiM Sub Pro is an active wireless subwoofer engineered to deliver deep, distortion-free bass down to 25 Hz through a custom 8-inch driver and a built-in 250W Class-D amplifier. Designed for modern hi-fi and home cinema systems, it pairs wirelessly with WiiM streamers, amplifiers, and speakers over Wi-Fi 6, while still offering a universal RCA mono input for any third-party receiver or soundbar. The WiiM Sub Pro is the right choice for listeners who want impactful low-end without running long cable runs across the room.

What Sets the WiiM Sub Pro Apart

Two features distinguish this subwoofer from most competitors in its class. First, the AI-driven RoomFit™ auto-calibration uses your mobile device's microphone to analyse room acoustics and speaker placement, then automatically adjusts bass output for balanced performance in any space. Second, the Sub Pro breaks the closed-ecosystem pattern by offering an RCA sub-in alongside wireless pairing—meaning it works with non-WiiM receivers and amps that have a standard subwoofer output, not just the WiiM family.

Driver and Amplification — Power That Stays Controlled

Built around a custom 8-inch woofer and a Class-D amplifier, the Sub Pro delivers 250W RMS continuous power. Sensitivity is rated at 104 dB SPL (1 W/1 m), and distortion stays minimal, even at high output levels.

• Driver: 8" custom woofer — long-throw design for controlled, articulate bass
• Built-in Amplifier: 250W Class-D RMS continuous — high efficiency with low heat output
• Sensitivity: 104 dB

Frequency Response and Room Calibration

Frequency response spans 25 Hz to 200 Hz, reaching well below the threshold of typical bookshelf and floorstanding speakers. RoomFit™ uses AI-driven analysis to measure room acoustics and adapt the sub's output accordingly. Manual fine-tuning is available through the WiiM Home App, including a 10-band parametric EQ, adjustable crossover, phase, level, and latency controls.

• Frequency Range: 25 Hz – 200 Hz — covers the full sub-bass and low-bass spectrum
• RoomFit™ AI-driven room analysis adapts bass output automatically after measuring your space
• Manual Tuning: 10-band parametric EQ, crossover, phase, level, latency

Connectivity, Build, and Integration

Connectivity is where the Sub Pro truly stands out. Wi-Fi 6 provides ultra-low-latency wireless streaming to compatible WiiM devices, while Bluetooth 5.3 LE Audio offers flexible pairing with supported sources. An Ethernet port is included for wired network setups that demand zero compromise, and the RCA mono input accepts any standard subwoofer output. The vibration-resistant chassis houses the electronics in a resonance-controlled enclosure measuring 399 × 301 × 322 mm and weighing 16 kg.

• Wireless: Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 LE Audio — multi-room sync with the WiiM ecosystem
• Wired Inputs: Ethernet, RCA mono — universal compatibility with any amp or receiver
• Build: 399 × 301 × 322 mm enclosure, 16 kg — vibration-resistant chassis eliminates cabinet rattle

Who Should Choose the WiiM Sub Pro

Hi-fi enthusiasts and home cinema listeners will find this subwoofer a strong match for adding deep, controlled bass to a WiiM-based wireless system—or to any third-party amp with a subwoofer output. Bookshelf speaker owners whose speakers lack low-end authority, music lovers wanting full-range extension for electronic, hip-hop, and orchestral recordings, and home cinema fans seeking cinematic impact from explosions and soundtracks all benefit from the 250W Class-D output and 8-inch custom driver. Smart power management, OTA firmware updates, and the intuitive WiiM Home App make this model especially appealing for users who value a set-and-forget experience with ongoing improvements over time. The WiiM Sub Pro is the right choice for anyone building a flexible 2.1 or wireless multi-room setup that needs real sub-bass authority.

WiiM and the Smart Subwoofer Category

WiiM, a brand by Linkplay Technology, has built its reputation on affordable, app-driven hi-fi components that punch well above their price class. The Sub Pro extends that philosophy into the subwoofer category, combining a custom 8-inch driver, Class-D amplification, and AI-driven room calibration in a single wireless unit. The product earned a Red Dot 2026 design award, reflecting its minimalist aesthetic and vibration-resistant chassis engineered for both music and movie playback.
