Operating across three perceptual dimensions—spectral, tonal, and temporal—UNMASK features dedicated modules for each, all controlled by a single Depth knob. Simply adjust the settings to unlock the full potential of your sound.

• Frequency Domain Unmask — SPEC
  Boost hidden details while taming excessive peaks. SPEC identifies spectral details that are often masked by dominant frequencies, dynamically lifting the buried elements while controlling the loud ones. Experience a cleaner, more defined sound that reveals more than what was originally recorded.
• Spectral Envelope Shaping — TILT
  Shape your audio spectrum to align with natural human hearing preferences. TILT analyzes the spectral envelope in real-time, guiding it toward a target slope you define (-3, -4.5, or -6 dB/oct). Achieve a balanced tonal foundation effortlessly, eliminating the need for complex EQ adjustments.
• Time Domain Unmask — TIME
  Uncover the subtle sounds masked by strong transients. TIME detects post-transient shadows across the spectrum, dynamically recovering the quieter sounds that follow impactful hits, such as drum strikes or vocal consonants. Discover depth and detail that traditional EQs and compressors cannot reach.
• EXT Glue — Psychoacoustic Fusion
  Ensure your tracks blend seamlessly. Unlike traditional sidechain processing, EXT Glue analyzes mutual masking between signals, resolving psychoacoustic conflicts. Route your instrumental as an external sidechain, allowing vocals to integrate smoothly into the mix.

Easy to Use

With three Depth knobs—one for each module—simply turn them up to enhance your sound. Each module starts with sensible defaults, making it easy to achieve polished results in most sessions.

Precision Control

• Gain Range
  Set independent upper and lower limits for boosting or cutting, allowing for subtle or aggressive processing as needed.
• Processing Frequency Range
  Define the exact frequency range UNMASK will affect, enabling you to protect certain frequencies while processing others.
• Priority Curve
  Adjust the processing intensity across the spectrum, focusing more on midrange frequencies for vocal clarity while preserving the low end.

Monitoring and Master Controls

• Monitor each module's boost, cut, or combined delta for precise decision-making.
• Access global controls for Scale, Smooth, Attack, Release, Gain Range, Processing Frequency Range, and Priority Curve.
• Switch between global and per-module views for easy adjustments.

Zero Latency Mode

UNMASK utilizes linear-phase filters for transparent, phase-accurate mixing. When latency is a concern, switch to Zero Latency Mode for minimum-phase filters, ensuring real-time performance without delay.

Flexible Routing

Support for various channel modes (LR, MS, Mid-only, Side-only, M2S, or S2M) allows for tailored processing. The Dry Mix feature blends processed and original signals at any ratio, enabling parallel processing without additional routing.
