Teddy Swims, born Jaten Collin Dimsdale on September 25, 1992, is an American singer and songwriter recognized for his genre-blending style that fuses soul, country, and pop. He gained early attention by posting cover songs on YouTube in 2019 and 2020 and later broke into the charts with his 2022 EP Tough Love. Swims achieved widespread success with his 2023 single Lose Control, which reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and charted internationally. His debut album, I've Tried Everything but Therapy Part 1, released in 2023, also found global success. In 2024, Teddy Swims was named MTV's Push Artist of February.
