Tuned Artillery by Soundiron is a unique metallic percussion library designed for the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt 5.5 or later. This library features dry and hall recordings of spent brass field artillery shell casings from WWI and WWII, along with Eastern Bloc infantry combat helmets and decommissioned hand grenades. These instruments produce deeply resonant and harmonically rich sounds when struck with mallets, hammers, sticks, brushes, or bare hands.

• Sound Content: Includes a wide variety of percussive sounds, such as pings, dings, brushes, scrapes, bounces, clunks, shakes, and SFX. Each piece of equipment was recorded in multiple articulations and velocity layers to ensure natural and realistic sound quality.
• Recording Techniques: Recorded with three microphone positions (close, mid, and far) in a large concert hall, as well as dry recordings in a booth. This allows for a flexible sound design with both spatial and intimate sonic characteristics.
• Interface Features: Equipped with automation-ready controls for swell, attack, release, offset, vibrato, filter, pitch (coarse and fine), articulation switching, cross-fading, and layering. Also includes an adaptive LFO system, customizable arpeggiator, and key/scale lock system.
• Effects Rack: Features 18 DSP effect modules, including phaser, flanger, delay, distortion, amp and cab simulators, compressors, EQ, and convolution reverb with 99 different spaces and 40 custom FX impulses.
