Sennheiser E609 Instrument Dynamic Microphone

Instrument microphone with supercardioid pick-up pattern that has been designed for miking guitar cabs face-on and extremely close to the signal source. It provides isolation from other onstage signals and it is also suitable for miking drums, especially toms. The microphone features rugged metal body with a practical shape and an advanced shock-mount design. It is also equipped with a hum compensating coil and a 2-pin XLR connector. A carrying pouch is also included. Frequency response: 40 Hz-15 kHz. Dimensions: 55 x 34 x 124 mm. Silver colour.

Frequency Range

Frequency Range: 40 Hz - 15 kHz

The frequency response 40 Hz - 15 kHz provides a wide enough range to capture all the fine musical and sonic details.

Polar Pattern

Polar Pattern: Supercardioid

A supercardioid directional microphone is even more directional than a classic cardioid microphone. This type of microphone is designed to be highly sensitive to sounds coming from the front, while picking up slightly more sounds from the back than a cardioid microphone. This allows it to better isolate the main sound source and minimize ambient noise.
