Patented Tremolo Spring Tensioner for Floating Bridges

This drop-in replacement for the vintage bent sheet-metal tremolo claw sits inside the spring cavity of most floating-bridge electric guitars. Built for Fender Stratocaster, LockMeister and Floyd Rose style tremolos, the Schaller Sure Claw Nickel lets the guitarist dial in spring tension without removing the back cover.

Worm-Drive Parallel Adjustment Through the Cover Plate

Two precisely machined worm threads run inside the claw, so a single 3 mm Allen key turns both sides at once and keeps the three springs under equal load. A small access hole in the cover plate reaches the adjuster from outside the guitar.

Compact Footprint, Flush Horizontal Mounting

The housing sits parallel and flush against the spring-cavity wall, secured with two M3.5 x 25 mm screws. Its low-profile geometry lets the original tremolo cover close without modification.

Steel, Brass and Zinc Body for Stable Spring Anchoring

The claw is machined from steel, brass and zinc with a nickel finish, giving the springs a firm anchor that resists rattle. Up to three tremolo springs can be attached.

3 mm Allen Key Adjustment and Wide Tremolo Compatibility

Spring preload is set with the supplied 3 mm Allen key through the cover-plate hole for on-the-fly tuning corrections.
