PUP, short for Pathetic Use of Potential, is a punk rock band from Toronto, Canada, formed in 2010. Originally known as Topanga, the group gained attention with their self-titled debut album released in 2013. Signing with SideOneDummy Records, PUP continued to build a strong following through dynamic releases including The Dream Is Over and Morbid Stuff. Known for their energetic sound and brutally honest lyrics, the band has also released the EP This Place Sucks Ass and the albums The Unraveling of PUPTheBand and Who Will Look After the Dogs.
