How to use: 

• Setasilk lightening medium
  • Substrates: Most silk fabrics.
  • Opacity: Clear
  • Finish: Glossy.
  • Setting: 5 minutes on the reverse side of the fabric, using a cotton position iron without steam.
  • Maintenance (of the decorated supports): 48 hours after fixing, the colors resist hand and machine washing (delicate program).
  • Cleaning of brushes: with soapy water.
• Water-based gutta:
  • Water Guttas, with a thick consistency, are suitable for crimping. With pearly or shiny colors, they can be worked directly with the cannula tube. They penetrate perfectly the fibers of the fabric, thus blocking the Setasilk colors which are then applied. Once fixed with iron, these guttas resist washing (according to recommendations).
• Colorless water gutta
  • To make colorless seams on fabrics. When applied, it penetrates the fibers of the fabric, thus blocking the Setasilk colors that are applied afterwards. The colorless water gutta is a product specially formulated to be removed with water.
  • It can be applied with a brush, with Pebeo gutta minerve nibs or with Pebeo gutta applicators.
  • Recommendations: Some bristles require washing before use to remove the primer.
  • The Setasilk color must be fixed first and then the fabric washed to remove the gutta with colorless water.
  • Wait until the colors are dry before fixing them for 5 minutes with an iron in cotton position without steam.
  • Drying: 30 minutes in the air.
  • Substrates: Most silk fabrics.
  • Opacity: Opaque colors.
  • Finish: Pearly.
  • Fixing: 5 minutes on the reverse side of the fabric, with a cotton position iron without steam.
  • Maintenance (of the decorated supports): 48 hours after fixing, the water-based guttas resist hand and machine washing (delicate program). Except for the colorless gutta which can be removed with water.
