This paint is full coverage, vivid, concentrated and intense. The different Setacolor Opaque paints can be mixed together to create a wide range of colours. This paint offers excellent lightfastness and a rich colour range with moiré, pearlescent and even suede-effect colours.

• Setacolor Opaque colours can be applied to different types of pre-washed fabrics: cotton, wool, cotton-wool, knitwear, jersey, velvet, jacquard, polyester, fibre blends and non-wovens.
• The colours are ready to use and can be used pure or diluted with water to obtain watercolour effects. The rich texture of Setacolor Opaque colours is ideal for a wide range of textile decoration techniques, such as brush, pipette, pad, screen printing and stencilling.
• Some of the colours in the range are pearlescent: they contain iridescent pearls that offer a glow with changing reflections, varying from pink, blue, green to gold, while always remaining on a pearlescent base colour.

How to use:

• They can be used pure or diluted with water to obtain a watercolor effect. Their rich texture is particularly indicated for various textile decorating techniques: with a paint brush, dropper, stamp, silkscreen painting stencil...
• When used with Setacolor auxiliaries additional effects can be obtained to multiply the techniques.
• For airbrush use, make a first mixture 50% water / 50% Setacolor lightening medium (ref 391014) which will serve as a dilution base. Then, make a second mixture with the chosen colour, 50% Setacolor Opaque paint / 50% of the first mixture for airbrushing.
• To fix the Setacolor colours, iron the reverse side of the decorated fabric for 5 minutes on cotton position with no steam. It is also possible to put the fabrics in the kitchen oven. After 5 minutes at 150°C (300°F) the colours are fixed. Once fixed, the colours resist machine washing.
• The colours can be washed in a washing machine after fixing, but dry cleaning is not recommended.
