The Aquaria is a homage to what is possibly the most sought-after Overdrive in the world!

While the goal was to provide all the sounds of the original, enhancements were made: a three-way clipping switch to tailor saturation and compression. Choose between smooth-sounding germanium diodes, a modern take with a combination of Schottky diodes and a smoothing capacitor, or silicon diodes that offer more headroom but a harsher, almost distortion-like sound!

Unlike the horseman-ancestor of Aquaria, which gets its signature sound from mixing more clean signal as gain increases, this pedal splits this function into two separate controls. This allows for use as a perfect clean-boost, raunchy distortion, or the classic transparent drive associated with the pedal's artwork. The principle of the original tone control is maintained but with drastically improved response.

A footswitchable 4-band EQ with perfectly chosen bands and a second master volume called “boost” were added. Dial in Aquaria to achieve the ideal frequency spectrum, use it as a two-channel device, or simply as an EQ: limitless possibilities! Aquaria is equally at home in front of clean channels as well as a drive to push an amp over the edge! Finally, an internal switch allows selection between the Klon-bypass buffer and true bypass operation!
