I originally intended to lower them by 2 tones (G standard, scale 673 mm), but they were still quite hard for me. So I tried to F, as if I had an eight-string without one string. So it's still not soft for easy pulling, but maybe it will help for lower catches. The thicker core and the balanced hardness of the whole set are simply recognizable. Even with such tuning, it doesn't sound muddy, but pretty brutal. But my guitar has a Floyd Rose and the groove in the bridge stone is too narrow for the thickest 070 string. When tightening, the winding snapped and the string fell out. I had to unroll a bit and then everything fit. I don't know how the 70 goes through the zero fret of other guitars, but it's fine through mine with locks.
