Electro-acoustic bass ukulele that is basically a ground breaking short scale bass, producing the same pitches as a standard bass instrument and tuned in traditional bass tuning, EADG. It features an all-solid-acacia body and mahogany neck fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with 16 frets. Scale length is 533.5 mm. The instrument is equipped with a Custom Shadow bass pickup with 4 individual piezo elements and Kala electronic system with active EQ and on-board tuner. Other features include a rosewood bridge with separate compensated saddles for each string and Custom Hipshot tuners. The bass ukulele is strung with proprietary polyurethane Pahoehoe strings that incorporate a great bass feel with balanced tension. A custom hard-foam case is included. Natural colour design with satin finish.
