Ibanez responds to the diverse requirements of different types of players and budgets, while remaining true to the characteristic core of the series: a smooth, fast neck, a lightweight body, and perfectly tuned electronics. The 5-piece neck made of roasted maple and walnut ensures high stability and durability thanks to its heat-treated structure, while the rosewood fingerboard delivers a balanced tone with clearly focused mids. Medium-sized frets support precise intonation, and the okoume body contributes a bright, solid basic sound. The Bartolini® BH2 pickups with their dual-coil construction and extended magnetic field coverage provide powerful low end, assertive mids, and a smooth response. This is complemented by the Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band tone control, whose sophisticated midrange tuning emphasizes particularly musical bass frequencies.
