Epiphone MATT HEAFY Les Paul Custom

Electric guitar with custom Les Paul body shape that has been designed in close collaboration with Matt Heafy from Trivium and reflects Heafy's distinctive approach to guitar, which has earned him and Trivium scores of dedicated fans around the world. Body of the instrument is made of mahogany and combined with plain maple veneer top. Also mahogany neck features a 1960s SlimTaper “D” profile and a glued-in at deep-set neck joint with “Axcess” heel. Adjustable truss rod features 2-ply black and white cover with “MKH Les Paul Custom” logo in white. Fingerboard is made of ebony and features a 12” radius, 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid block inlays. Scale length is 628.65 mm, nut width is 42.672 mm. Guitar is equipped with one EMG-85 pickup in neck position and one EMG-81 pickup in bridge position – both pickups are powered by a 9V battery accessible on the back of guitar. Sound can be adjusted via independent Volume and Tone controls for each pickup, featuring Black Speed knobs. Instrument further features body top, headstock and fingerboard white/black or white binding (7-ply/5-ply/1-ply), a LockTone Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar, a heavy duty non-rotating Epiphone 1/4" output jack, deluxe die-cast machine heads with black metal tulip buttons (14:1 ratio) and D’Addario strings (.010-.046).
