EIKON WM900DKIT Wireless system
WM900DKIT is a professional dual-channel UHF true diversity wireless microphone system that combines a handheld transmitter and a bodypack transmitter with headset and lavalier microphones in a single package. One true diversity PLL receiver with autoscan and IR sync handles both channels simultaneously up to 50 metres. Three frequency ranges – UHF A (512–568 MHz), UHF B (606–614 MHz), and UHF C (614–670 MHz) – cover a wide range of usage scenarios and regional frequency regulations.
Versatile Dual-Transmitter Configuration
The combination of one handheld and one bodypack transmitter makes WM900DKIT suitable for scenarios where one performer needs a handheld mic while a second requires hands-free operation. Both transmitters run on two standard 1.5 V AA alkaline batteries. Total system weight is 2.7 kg, housed in an ABS receiver case.
System: UHF
The UHF (Ultra High Frequency) wireless system operates within a broad frequency range, ensuring stable and reliable sound transmission with minimal interference. The UHF band provides excellent range and strong signal even in challenging conditions, making it ideal for professional applications such as live performances, conferences, or broadcasting.
Frequency Range: 60 Hz - 17 kHz
The frequency response 60 Hz - 17 kHz provides a wide enough range to capture all the fine musical and sonic details.
Capsule Type: Dynamic
A dynamic microphone is a type of microphone that works by moving a coil in a magnetic field. This mechanism allows you to capture sound waves and convert them into electrical signals. Dynamic microphones provide a natural and warm sound with excellent handling of loud sound sources such as vocals, drums, or electric instruments. Their directionality usually prevents unwanted ambient sounds from being picked up, which reduces background noise.
Polar Pattern: Cardioid
The cardioid directional microphone is designed to be most sensitive to sounds coming directly from the front and less sensitive to sounds coming from the sides and back. This directional pattern resembles the shape of a heart (hence the name "cardioid") and is ideal for situations where it is necessary to focus on a single sound source and minimize ambient noise.
Battery Operation: Yes
Battery power provides flexibility and mobility. This feature allows you to use the device anywhere, even in places where an electrical outlet is not available. Battery power is ideal for situations that require portability and independence from the grid, whether you're outdoors, on the road, or in a location with limited access to electricity.
