EAW RSX218 Dual 18" Self-Powered Subwoofer — Touring-Grade Low-Frequency Foundation

The EAW RSX218 is a self-powered dual 18" subwoofer from EAW's RADIUS family, engineered to deliver very high output from a compact enclosure with low AC power draw. Two 18" cone transducers with 3" voice coils in a vented loading configuration reach down to 27 Hz and push peak levels to 141 dB (half space). Ultra-wide ports reduce low-frequency turbulence, keeping the cabinet efficient in stacked cardioid arrays. Onboard 1400 W amplification and EAW's signature DSP make it a fit for production applications where setup speed and sonic consistency matter equally.

Push-Button Cardioid and DynO Dynamic Optimization

Push-button cardioid operation redirects low-frequency energy away from the stage with a single press rather than complex array geometry. EAW's DynO™ algorithm dynamically optimizes amplifier output to the load in real time, while Focusing™ DSP maintains a pristine impulse response at every output level. Resolution software and the EAWmosaic™ iOS app deliver system prediction, control, and monitoring from anywhere in the venue.

Low-Frequency Output for Touring Rigs

The dual-driver configuration gives the cabinet the headroom needed for outdoor festivals, large clubs, and arena-scale events. Vented loading with ultra-wide ports reduces port turbulence at high excursion, keeping the low end articulate.
