Self-Powered 15" Subwoofer — Portable Low-End for Live Production

The EAW RS115 is a self-powered 15" subwoofer built for portable live-sound applications. A vented 15" cone transducer with a 3" voice coil delivers a frequency response of 40 Hz to 125 Hz and a peak SPL of 132 dB (half space), giving small-to-medium PA rigs the low-end foundation they need. On-board Class-D amplification rated at 1500 W with Power Factor Correction drives the loudspeaker directly.

EAW's DynO™ dynamic optimization algorithm tracks the input spectrum and power delivery in real time, maximizing output and fidelity at any drive level. A Mode button toggles between Normal and Depth or Punch voicings, letting operators re-tune the cabinet for music style or room acoustics in seconds. Large ports in the vented enclosure maximize sensitivity and minimize chuffing, while the RoadCoat finish, ergonomic handles, M20 pole cup and optional casters make transport straightforward.
