This suede coated ear cushion is very comfortable to wear. It is breathable and does not block out the outside world. That's why you can hear outside sounds. This is an advantage in certain situations. On the other hand, (since it does not hermetically seal the air space between the ear and the membrane compared to a fake red) decompression occurs. This results in a reduction of sound pressure in the sub-bass range. I can only guess at the extent of this, about - 6dB. I can safely say that this is not a disadvantage. I got used to the new sound image in a short time. Of course, this is just my experience and opinion, but I am completely satisfied with the suede ear cushions. I highly recommend them to everyone!
