Bobbiny Premium 5 mm 100 m Sand Cord

The braided Bobbiny Premium 5 mm cord is the most popular and most versatile thickness in the whole braided family. It handles macramé, crochet, knitting and weaving, which is exactly why it is so often recommended as a first choice for beginners – it sits well in the hand, stitches are easy to read and mistakes are easy to correct.

The braided surface with a cotton filling ensures an even round profile, a smooth, fuzz-free look and shape retention even in larger pieces. The cord is soft and springy, yet durable.

It is ideal for home accessories and interior decorations – small rugs, baskets, organisers, poufs, seat pads and mats, handbags and totes, cushion covers, macramé wall hangings and plant hangers. The recommended hook or needle size is 8 – 10 mm; a smaller tool gives a denser, more shape-holding fabric, a larger one more airy stitches.

Please note: a braided cord cannot be brushed out into fringes. If you want to add fringes or tassels to your project, use a Bobbiny macramé cord of the same thickness.
