Digital Labels for Your Patchbays

The Black Lion Audio PBR LIT is a 1U LED patchbay display for creating custom digital labeling of existing patchbays. It is not a patchbay itself, but a dedicated label screen that sits in the rack next to one, showing a clear, illuminated name for each connection point. Instead of rewriting tape strips or reprinting paper inserts every time the studio routing changes, labels are updated quickly and easily, and the blue glow stays readable in a dimly lit control room.

A Mode for Every Patchbay Layout

Four layout modes match the display to the most common patchbay formats, while the custom mode gives full use of the screen for any text you like, for patchbays or otherwise.

• Mode 4: Custom — free layout for alternative patchbays or creative signage

Easy Editing

Labels can be typed directly by attaching a USB keyboard to the unit, or entire layouts can be created and saved on a computer with the included Patchcad BLA Edition software for macOS and Windows.

Road-Worthy Construction

Built to Black Lion Audio standards, the PBR LIT uses a reinforced steel chassis and a black-anodized aluminum faceplate. The sleek black finish matches the PBR patchbay series and gives the rack a modern, sophisticated look.
