Black Lion Audio Auteur Mk3 Microphone Preamp
The Auteur mkIII has an audio input based on an integrated chip, which is used to provide a fast and transparent front-end, which in turn is combined with a vintage-inspired output phase design in conjunction with Cinemag transformers.
The two channels are equipped with MIC IN connectors located on the rear panel on the XLR connectors (4-pin) and balanced TRS line OUTPUT connections. The front panel contains LINE (TRS ENGAGE) level inputs and the corresponding HI-Z switch.
Both channels also have front panel GAIN controls (up to 62 dB gain), plus PAD (-10 dB), 48V (phantom power) and Ø (reverse polarity) buttons.
Removable rack ears for 1⁄2U units are also included.
