Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO MKII Studio Headphones

The DT 1990 PRO MKII open-back studio headphones are the second generation of a popular premium model, boasting improved sound, increased comfort, and industry-leading German workmanship. At the heart of these headphones is the newly developed TESLA.45 driver technology, making them ideal for mixing, mastering, and editing.

Exceptional Sound Quality

Thanks to their open-back design, the DT 1990 PRO MKII offers a natural and spatial soundstage, perfect for professional audio work. The redesigned 45mm TESLA.45 driver system delivers exceptional resolution, low distortion, and outstanding impulse response, ensuring signal fidelity even at high volumes. With an impedance of 30 ohms, these headphones are compatible with a wide range of devices.

Accurate and Detailed Sound

The DT 1990 PRO MKII boasts a precise bass response that extends to the lowest octaves, while slightly reduced highs compared to the previous model provide greater detail and clarity, aiding in critical listening and mixing decisions. The wide soundstage allows for accurate instrument and vocal placement.

Superior Comfort and Durability

Designed for long studio sessions, the DT 1990 PRO MKII offers outstanding comfort. The robust spring steel headband ensures optimal contact pressure, while the skin-friendly velour ear pads provide a comfortable fit. The headband, made of soft memory foam and durable leatherette, adapts perfectly to the shape of your head. Both the headband and ear pads are replaceable for long-term use.

Versatility and Customization

The DT 1990 PRO MKII comes with two sets of velour ear pads: 'Producing Velours' for a full sound with a slight bass boost and 'Mixing & Mastering Velours' for a more analytical sound. Two detachable cables are also included: a 3m straight cable and a 5m coiled cable, both with lockable 3-pin mini-XLR connectors. The headphones and accessories are stored in a high-quality hard case for safe transport and storage.
