Chris Hein Strings Compact Crossgrade — Solo and Ensemble Strings for Chris Hein Compact Owners

Chris Hein Strings Compact Crossgrade brings the sound of the renowned Chris Hein Solo Strings and Ensemble Strings libraries into a streamlined package. This edition uses the same carefully recorded samples as the Complete versions, performed largely by members of the WDR symphonic orchestra. The crossgrade license is for registered owners of Chris Hein Winds Compact or Chris Hein Orchestral Brass Compact.

What Makes This Library Stand Out

The compact edition keeps the most expressive features of its larger siblings. The Note-Head Designer pairs short and long note variations for natural attacks, while True Legato and Portamento deliver zero-latency transitions. Separate convolution sections for the body sound and the room create spaces from intimate proximity to large orchestral halls.

Who Should Choose This Edition

This crossgrade edition suits composers and producers who already own Chris Hein Winds Compact or Orchestral Brass Compact and want a versatile string library alongside them. Beginners benefit from the focused set of nine articulations, while experienced arrangers can layer solo instruments on top of ensembles. The library runs in the Kontakt Player on macOS 10.14 and Windows 10.
